Our Services

ICM offers producers the opportunity to access a totally independent marketing service incorporating the supply of fundamental and technical marketing information, together with price negotiation and position management. Our advisors offer personalised service to clients providing opportunities to maximize their market returns whilst creating more time for clients to concentrate on other facets of their business.

Market Information

Daily Reporting - Distribution of a Daily Market Report outlining the overnight movements in domestic and international pricing for cotton and grain. Our DMR also reports the changes in various Market Indices and provides a commentary on international agricultural futures and foreign exchange.

Other Reporting - Distribution of weekly market overviews for cotton and grain, including technical analysis. Various updates on specific grains and cotton reports, including USDA Supply and Demand releases, are distributed monthly.

Contract Negotiation

Through the formulation of selling strategies our advisors negotiate spot and forward physical contracts with traders and consumers. We also provide derivative and foreign exchange advice and recommendations. For cotton producers we negotiate ginning contracts and provide classing advice and analysis. Where required we will facilitate warehousing and bale transportation. With regards to grains we provide advice on contract allocation and undertake warehouse transfers.

Position Reporting

ICM use a comprehensive Customer Information System for all commodities to ensure clients are aware of their position marked to market. Positions are distributed to clients on a monthly basis, or as changes occur. Our Customer Information System is accessible through our website and all clients are provided secure and confidential access.

Dispute Resolution

ICM advisors remain involved with all sales through to finalisation. Invariably with forward contracting of agricultural commodities circumstances arise where either quality or quantity are in dispute. It is our role to negotiate an outcome between our client and the counterparty involved when these circumstances arise.
